Another of Granny’s creations that I now make too! My daughter, age four loves making these with me. Warning; I think more Christmas baubles (the tiny balls for decoration) went on the floor as much as the cake! It’s autumn so time to get the slow cooker out! This classic beef stew is warming on a cold wet day. My mum used to make this for me. This recipe has been passed down from my mum. I love it on a cold winter's evening.   These are really easy to make. They are great for breakfast and handy to have as a standby snack. Made with honey and nuts, they are a great energy boost for toddlers and also a good staple for breastfeeding mums.
