Babies can eat these pancakes - although it will be messy! We always used to cook American Pancakes but my daughter was won over by Crepe Pancakes after a visit from Granny! We now take it in turns between the two pancake recipes! Ingredients 100g plain flour, 2 large eggs 300ml milk 1 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil   Method Put the flour and eggs in the bowl and stir in. American Pancakes

This is what we call our “New York Breakfast” (also known as Drop scones and Scotch pancakes). Before Emily, I used to make a Lorraine Pascal’s pancakes. The recipe included tablespoons of sugar (note plural!), a vanilla pod all of which were a no no once our daughter came along as I had visions of her bouncing off the ceiling from all the sugar!
