Babies can eat these pancakes - although it will be messy! We always used to cook American Pancakes but my daughter was won over by Crepe Pancakes after a visit from Granny! We now take it in turns between the two pancake recipes! Ingredients 100g plain flour, 2 large eggs 300ml milk 1 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil   Method Put the flour and eggs in the bowl and stir in. Slowly add the milk and whisk until all lumps gone then add the oil into the mixture. Use your smallest frying pan and wipe it with some oiled kitchen paper....

This is super tasty and combines the best of the recipes that I’ve discovered while taking into account the recipe is for babies and young children. Another of Granny’s creations that I now make too! My daughter, age four loves making these with me. Warning; I think more Christmas baubles (the tiny balls for decoration) went on the floor as much as the cake! It’s autumn so time to get the slow cooker out! This classic beef stew is warming on a cold wet day. My mum used to make this for me.
